Never eat any plant, seed, berry, or root based on an app identification, this one or any other; look-alike species exist across nearly every edible plant family, and a wrong guess can be dangerous.
This tool does not identify mushrooms, on purpose. Amatoxin-producing species such as death cap and destroying angel give no reliable visual or field cue that separates them from edible look-alikes to a photo, an app, or often even an expert working from a photo alone. A wrong mushroom identification can be fatal, and symptoms from the most dangerous species can be delayed six to twenty-four hours, well past the point where early treatment is easiest.
