Chris and his team came through perfectly with the landscaping project I asked them to do! The before and after of the grass and weed around my AC unit and hose should show you all the amazing work and care they have in their craft! I also asked them to fix the flooding issues I had with my gutters and condensation line in my backyard and they came through as well. They were able to give me a better drainage system and a beautiful rock flowerbed. Chris is so personable and a highlight of their business as well. I also went with someone else that didn’t seem very professional with how they were going about the process but Dr Dan really showed me how it should be done. They even came in CHEAPER and with a better process than the original person I almost went with. I will be coming to them in a few weeks to do my front flowerbeds because I can imagine trusting anybody else except for them to do the job well. Trust me when I say this is the team you need.

I needed to remove 3 Crepe Myrtles that were planted too close to each other and that was sending leaves, flowers and seed pods into our pool throughout the year. I decided to replace the trees with Palms for ease of maintenance, no leaves to deal with, and to give it a tropical vibe since we already have a pool. I contacted Dr. Dan and Chris was very friendly and transparent with everything. I originally was going to go with Windmill Palms but Chris recommended Sabal Palms and now that I look at it I am glad I went with them in the grass area. They look very nice and more beefy. They also did install 2 Windmill Palms in the tight corner of the backyard. I also had a large area in the same corner that was just a dirt/mud pit but had a nice existing miniature Japanese Maple Tree. They brought in a bunch of Grey stone rock and put in a nice mulch area around the tree. Now that corner is no longer a weed infested eye sore. Once they were done I installed spot lights and the entire backdrop of our backyard is completely changed. I will definitely use Dr. Dan for other projects in the future. The crew was hard working and very meticulous with everything to get it to perfection. Thank you Dr. Dan, Chris and the rest of the crew!

Josh and his team took the ideas we had for redesigning our backyard and turned them into a great space for entertaining or just hanging out enjoying conversations or a movie. They did so many things well including handling a couple of add ons we made during the project. But the best part was the care they put into this project and the quality of the install. They measured and remeasured and carefully made sure surfaces and bistro poles were straight and level and drainage was flowing away from our house. They were able to re-use quite of bit of the existing stone from our large, circular fire pit and seating area which saved us on the project cost. They arrived on time and cleaned up after each day. I used Ashton for almost 4 years to treat one small section of my lawn that was shaded and planted in Fescue. Ashton was not supposed to treat any other parts of the yard. In July of this year, a tech came out and applied a fungicide to the entire front. I immediately contacted Ashton and met with the manager who assured me that future applications would be applied to the correct section of the yard. That assurance lasted 3 weeks. On August 22nd, an Ashton tech arrived and promptly applied a broad spectrum weed killer, a fertilizer, and another fungus application. In 15 minutes, he managed to undo years of work that it took to establish my lawn. These were the wrong chemicals applied at the wrong time in the wrong area resulting in killing off the great majority of my Centipede lawn, except for where he missed. The only saving grace is that he did a poor job of applying the chemicals. My ring security camera captured him spraying the entire front. He was either given the wrong information as to where and what to treat, or no information at all, except for an address. I met with the Ashton manager again, and he immediately tried to gaslight me by saying only fungicide and fertilizer were applied (no matter what the tech signed off on) and that furthermore, Ashton was not responsible for its mistakes (according to their contract). He did agree to buy 2 lbs of Centipede seed (what I thought was needed based on the die off at the time). I have since purchased 10 more lbs. This may seem like a small amount, but Centipede cost about $60 a lb. They (Ashton) demand 45 day's notice if you are not renewing your contract. Luckily, I had notified the company on August 7 that I would not be continuing the contract. Unfortunately, I let them apply the final treatment. I will replant my yard in the Spring and hopefully bring it back. However, If asked to give Ashton a rating, I would give them a negative 5 stars. They are not trustworthy and I never got even a half hearted "We're sorry" for the damage done.

Ashton Landscaping recently completed an extensive renovation of my front yard's landscaping. At the outset, Chip Ashton visited my home and designed a beautiful, detailed plan. The installation included removal of plantings in place for 30 years! It went seamlessly -- no small feat! The business office and landscape crew were meticulous and kept me informed at every point. Don’t believe the 1 year warranty they claim to have (when purchasing.) I purchased multiple 4.5 ft tall plants from there and half died within months. When I returned to get them replaced I was told they have no warranty on plants after 24 hours. Then after I got upset because I was told they had a 1 yr warranty like Lowes and Home Depot, he agreed to replace 1 with a 6in seedling that was less than half the cost. Dishonesty and not taking care of their regular customers is why I will never be back to buy anything from Jack Frost Garden Center.

This is the second time we have purchased hardwood to burn for the winter from Jack Frost. The first time, we received a "normal" amount of debris; dirt, saw dust, mulch and bark. This time, we received a ridiculous amount of this extra waste. I called them and they did not really offer a solution except maybe sending someone out next week to pick some of it up. They dumped the wood in my driveway where I normally park my vehicles and expect me to wait til next week for them to "maybe" pick some of it up? This was uncalled for and I will re-think purchasing from them again. Buyer beware!!!

Hunter and his team did an absolutely amazing job on trimming and cutting down years of overgrown bushes. He gave us an estimate quickly and scheduled a day to start the job. The day of the job, they worked so hard to make our front yard look fantastic. They worked fast and efficiently, they completed the job in 1 day. Our front yard looks better than we were expecting. I have witnessed great work they’ve done, however, with complete disregard for adjacent property. Their large trucks made deep ruts along our road (multiple times) and drug a lot of the mud and debris into the road. “If” it’s necessary to serve clients in challenging locations, please consider smaller vehicles, parking elsewhere, or rescheduling during dryer times. At a minimum, clean up your mess! You are a landscaping company after all.
