Jesus and his small crew were Amazing! They are polite, courteous, quick and conscientious. I would recommend them with no reservations. Second Construction needs to be more careful and pay closer attention to what the customer is requesting, when quoting. Not understanding/paying attention to what the customer wants, sending a formal quote, and then changing the price after the quote is signed and the deposit has been paid is not good business. Overall, the work that was done was done well and we are happy with the results.

My yard was clean the day before by a different service. My neighbor get services from this company. His yard is clean, yet I have to go tell these idiots to stop blowing all the leaves to my yard. They laugh and continue to do it. I noticed they blow the leaves to the street and let all the neighbors deal with it. If you respect your neighbors and want to continue having a cordial neighborhood. Either get a company that respects you as well as your neighbors. Or set boundaries before they start the work.. Spoke with Charlie today November 20. He basically called me a liar that his crew was not blowing crap on my lawn. There's a 10 second video. He said I have small balls talking to grown men like that. His crew said its my responsibility to clean my own yard. I stated I wouldn't have to clean more if they would just stop blowing on my yard. Charlie cursed me out. I have phone conversation where he's threatening me because i left a bad review. Is that really the company you want to hire and represent your neighbors.

Sprayed herbicide for weeds, a pre-emergent that got rid of all the weeds on the concrete and in the landscaping. Six months later, there's still no growth. Best investment ever! It's super reliable and great price. I'd totally recommend it to family and friends. Jaime was very punctual,professional and friendly.

Contracted SP & LC to buy, deliver and plant a Chinese Pistache tree in my front yard. The owner, Mr. Acosta, was friendly and communicated well. Really appreciated three things in particular: 1. He didn't cut corners on materials: the tree he got us was big, mature, healthy and beautiful, and he stood by his product by offering a 90-day warranty. He was excited to show us the tree he bought, you could feel he really loves his job and takes pride in it. 2. He worked very cleanly: he picked up all the rocks, dirt, bags, re-rolled the garden hose, etc. and left our driveway as clean as when he arrived. 3. It is a locally-owned family business, Mr. Acosta and his son came in person to do the job. His son is still in high school but was very polite, well-spoken and hard-working, a pleasure to deal with.

I contracted with SP&LC for landscaping & irrigation system pay tens of thousands of dollars. Jesus completed the job & provided a 3 year warranty. Unfortunately his warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. I have reached out to Jesus (owner of the company) several times & while he states that he’s coming, it’s a no show. I would not recommend this business at all. As one previous complaint stated, “ many promises but no delivery”. Since my last posting, SP&LC has remedied all outstanding issues to my satisfaction. SP&LC has been more responsive & have followed through with all the repairs I had pointed out. I am more confident that SP&LC will respond in a timely manner.

Dominic and his team were very professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and timely! Regardless of changes we imposed throughout the project they accepted them and got the job done fairly and quickly. We were originally booked for April and Dominic was graciously able to squeeze us in for March instead! We went from avoiding an overgrown lawn to spending every minute we can outside! The outdoor space is truly loved and we will refer DJO to all of our local family and friends.

Update: the owner blocked me on facebook for posting this very same review. Very petty, petulant and unprofessional. The contractor does great work, he did my friend's backyard and was highly recommended. He never showed up for an inital estimate or returned my texts trying to reschedule several times. I guess the job was too small for him or he won the lottery. Either way, very unprofessional on their end and why I wouldn't recommendhis services. If you can get him to show up, that's a plus.
